BroadbandTV Contacted Me

I Love YTtalk
Is anybody a partner of this company? I just got out of Fullscreen a couple months ago so I'm enjoying getting 100% of my earnings, but I've never heard of this company. I see Rakkarakka apparently belongs to them and they are a big channel.

They're the 2nd biggest MCN on YouTube, overtook Fullscreen a couple of months ago.
About 50,000 channels & 5B monthly views.

They're a big network, and they work with a lot of brands. Although they'll probably take an unreasonable amount of money from your channel without providing any services, I suggest you stay independent.

I have no knowledge of MCN's, but I see you where already 'Fullscreen'
There are so many bad stories on the net about MCN's, I dont see what they offer to the Small Youtuber. The main thing I see is that you can access copyrighted music to use in your videos which seems a bit weak if thats the main incentive - considering how much free music is out there.

Do these guys offer something that fullscreen didnt - I suppose thats what you need to ask your self.

Music was actually one of the main reasons I liked fullscreen the first couple years. Their "free" audio library is awesome. Something changed though and I started getting 3rd party hits every day for their "free" music, so I saw no reason to stay with them anymore.

Interesting, was the music integral to you videos? just curious.
Besides music library do they give you any tools or information to help you expand?

I got a free Spreadshirt account too. I made shirts for my bowling team on there, that's about all. When I sell shirts I use Teespring. So yeah, basically the only useful thing was their audio library and the fact they say they'll back you up for 3rd part claims, not sure how true that was.

I'm with BBTV and got a deal that not many networks can beat. I recommend you turn down their first offer and negotiate something better. If they don't offer you good revenue share, you shouldn't join them. They're amazing at helping bigger channels, I have partner manager who I can talk to daily so that's awesome, but I doubt they're doing much for smaller channels so you should definitely focus on revenue share to be as high as possible (90-10 for example). You will get access to Epidemic Sound library & VISO Catalyst (pretty cool dashboard, not too useful to me personally). Overall I've had pretty good experience with them, about to enter last two months of 1-year contract and we'll see what else they can offer if they want me to sign for another year :)
