Brand Deals Without MCN

I went to a YouTuber meet up & one of the things I took away from it was brand deals is something I should start on my channel. I went on social blue book and it looks like something I should for sure do for my channel. Who here has done it themselves? I'm a YouTube partner and not with a MCN so I would have to reach out to companies myself. Ellie & Jared the hosts of the meet up were saying in their speech you could go to the website and send an email. Any tips on that from someone who has done that before would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have never contacted companies about brand deals but whenever I want to use material from a company or artist in my video, I sent them a business email explaining what I want to use and where I will use it for.

My emails are usually like this:

Dear sir, madam,


My name is JingIeBeIls, I have a YouTube channel and I was wondering if I could use [...] in my video.

The idea of the video is that [...]


The reason that I'm asking you this question is also because I'm Partnered with a Network called Fullscreen inc and they automatically monetize every video that I upload, but I have a small audience so I do not make any money of YouTube.


So is it okay to use [...]? I will leave a link to your website in the description.
