Box for box???

Basically, when you go out shopping at your local mall and you purchase something and it comes in a box, keep the box. Then on every first Saturday of the month just before midnight all your local neighborhood residents who have empty boxes meet up and trade these boxes, then return home. I'm only aware of a one on one trade, I've never heard of someone trading two boxes for one or vice-versa. Maybe someone else can provide a more definitive answer :)

You feature a person's channel in your channel, and they do the same.

cool .. now i know what is box4box ... i been hearing this for quite a while and i don't understand what it means ..

It seems like youtube shows channels from the boxes as a additional suggestion when someone subscribes to a channel.
At least it is additional visibility to your channel. But i'd say that it might be a good idea to keep the channels in your box relevant to the topic of your channel. Its like the Subs vs. real followers thing
