Blurring/Blacking Out on a Video

So I am doing a House Tour video of our new house for my vlog this week, but I want to black out/blur our address number on the house. I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and not sure the best way to do that. Right now I'm just using a little black rectangle I added as a new layer and have been slicing/moving it to cover the address. I've sliced it down pretty far now but when I play it the address is still visible in several frames. This seems to be a pretty time consuming thing to do so I wonder if I'm doing it right, or if there there is a better method.

Any suggestions?

you could do a censor effect in adobe after effects. not sure how to do that in premiere though but i'm sure there is a way.

Motion tracking is the best way, something that basic should be easy in adobe premiere, In future if you ever need really serious motion tracking, you might want to use PFTrack or Boujou

I've been searching for a motion tracking tutorial for Premiere Pro, but all I find are ones for After Effects. Would I need to export to After Effects first to do this or do you guys know how to do this in Premiere Pro (Adobe Help wasn't any help either).

Motion track the number and then just place a black box on the tracked object
Ok, but how do I motion track it? Where is it in Premiere Pro? I couldn't find it under the effects menu, or in the top menu. Sorry I haven't done too much fancy stuff with Premiere Pro yet ...

Here you are! The first video is pretty good, but I gave you the whole google search result in case you want more! :)

Thanks, that first video helped a lot. Thanks. :) I would have never thought to find motion tracking that way. :)
