Blocked videos?

So my youtube, at the moment, features different videos. One that just got blocked was the evolution of Steve Harrington (Stranger Things). We grabbed different videos already on youtube and made an evolution video. Once we uploaded the video it was blocked. I have since messaged youtube on both email and twitter but nothing has been done about it. After spending so much time on it I am ticked that it is blocked. Does anybody else have the same probably or anyway to getting my video unblocked?

I'm guessing it's blocked because you don't own the copyright to the TV show.

Netflix can be quite protective of their original content. What reason does it give for the video being blocked?

So basically the video is an hour long. We grabbed a bunch of smaller videos, on youtube already, and just complied them together. So if Netflix owns the content then why does Youtube let the smaller, shorter videos stay on youtube while mine is being blocked?

We took different clips like this and created a longer, more thorough video to capture the evolution of Steve and my video was blocked.

These other channels will be caught eventually. They will receive strikes for uploading copyright material and eventually banned.

IMO You really are asking how to get around copyright which we cannot assist you with.

You are best to concenrate creating a channel with all of your own original content. You will have now issue with videos being blocked.

Let me give you some advice with regards to YouTube and their rules. This will help you avoid a lot of problems in your YouTube career. - Focus on making sure that your channel complies with the rules. - When a channel gets a strike, saying "But I saw other channels doing it" doesn't count for anything. Kind of like if someone gets caught speeding on the motorway / highway. The cops don't care if you tell them you saw lots of people that day speeding.
