Bitrate in Sony Vegas | What do you use?

I've Got It
Hey everyone,

If you record video game footage and render with Sony Vegas, you've probably came across the bit-rate setting. (MB/s).
I was just wondering- what do you use? Personally I set my FPS games at 6MB/s, because any lower than that and it looks grainy. Is there a way to bypass this, and if so, any better techniques?

Thanks!

Depends on the resolution of the footage and the FPS you're recording on. So as you see the 6MBPS template is appropriate for a 720p 30 FPS video. So the 8MBPS will result in 1080p and also 30 FPS - that's only of course if you've recorded on the right resoulition and FPS beforehand. You can however adjust the template by clicking on the "Custom..." buttom next to the templates. Or you can experiment with rendering into an other format than WMV. ;)
