I Just Downloaded Gimp . And Was Wondering If Any Body Had Any Tips On Creating A Logo On There .

It will take some learning. My best suggestion would be to find a complicated but high quality art image with some good action going on. Then play around in GIMP to learn how to properly use the cut, erase, crops and so on by trying to rip pieces of the image apart. Once you have a basic understanding, then you can move into merging images together. Probably best when doing a logo to pick a simple design.
