Best Way to Record for Duel Comms

koalafied gamers

Loving YTtalk
I have started a series with my cousin and we are trying different audio recording software with Skype. Would you say this is the best way to record for a duel commentary of even more, or would you disagree and say there is a better way to do this to try and get the best quality before we start investing in top market mics. And yes before you say, we know the quality is not going to be brilliant until we get them but if we can find a program that would be good to help us get by, that would be great.

Thanks.

I'm confused by this so far, maybe I'm stupid for that. Could you possibly explain what you're actually looking for? Again, I'm probably incredibly stupid for not understanding.

haha sorry if i explained it a bit too much. Simply, i am wanting the best software to help with my recording for duel commentarys.

only way I know how to is go into game have fraps (assuming you use fraps) just record your ingame sounds then use your software that you use to record your voice on and fraps automatically counts skype as a game so it records their audio. Because I used like skype caller and relized that fraps already records their voices

Thats what i do im not sure if there is any programme with better sound quality than skype

Skype or Ventrilo are probably your best bets for recording dual comms :D I use skype but I know a lot of TGS partners are big fans of Ventrilo :p
