That is also good as well but for 3D elements you are going to use in your intro. CS6 now incorporates some 3D features such as 3D text so odds are majority of people who prefer doing intros by themselves will need only this.

ah ok...well truth be told I never really used it C4D...Just goin off of what i heard

You can make some cool intros with sony vegas pro too

Adobe After Effects is the way to go, i'm excited to try CS6, we are currently using CS4.

No. But you can download a trial version of all Adobe products. About Vegas not so sure though.
