Best software for annotations?

Hi everyone! I'm new here but I did have a question about possibly adding annotations to videos before uploading them to Youtube. Can anyone recommend video ripping software that would allow me to do this, so the annotation is part of the video file itself? I've used Winx DVD ripper in the past, but they don't offer this function as of yet.

Thanks in advance! :)

Is this even possible? To add annotations and links for that matter and embed them before uploading them to the site? I've never even heard of such a thing :) Best of luck! I'll keep an eye on this thread because now I'm curious!

If you mean ones that with links then no, if you mean just adding text on top with a background then you can use pretty much any video editor, although you will have more options with paid video editors such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

If you want to make sure that the annotations are there for when your video goes live just upload it as private, add the annotations and make it public when you are done :).
