Best Recording Device!

Hey guys!

I just wanted to let everybody who is interested in buying a recording device that the Elgato GameCaptureHD is the way to go! I have used both the HDPVR and the Elgato and I have to say that it's muuuuch better. I record all my videos in 720 or 1080p with no problem what so ever. The Elgato also has many other pros. Leave any questions down bellow!

If you record of a console it's not 1080p since they only support 720p. Unless it's a WiiU.

If you record of a pc screen capture softwares such as Dxtory or Fraps are a lot better.

I was gifted an HDPVR2 a month or so back. I mean, setting it up was a bit more complicated than I thought it would be but once I finally did I can't complain too much about it. I have heard good things about the Elgato but it mainly comes down to a matter of choice at that point.

They do record the frame size 1920x1080p but the actual image is just scaled up from 1280x720 to fit the screen resolution
