most people have no idea how to create a thumbnail for thei videos. a thumbnail is what you see on the rectangle part of the video before you play it for example. you search how to make a chocolate cake and search results come up with rectangle images.

i struggled too like every other youtuber on how to make a thumbnail especially for free because most things online are not free. well there are many free sites to use to make very good and almost as professional as the thumbnails made with £100's of pounds worth of editing software.

the site i use to make and edit thumbnails is picmonkey.com it is a great site and you can do other stuff too to do with editing a picture or creating one. go on design and do your stuff and enter now the size of a thumbnail is this 1280 x 720 you must enter this or it wont load on youtube when you upload it. and also you can choose the definition of the pic. e.g. low medium or high. lol some reason they don't use these words, they use the words the

Roger = low definition pierce = medium definition sean = high definition.

hope this helps some people on thumbnail editing and creating and other stuff. also fotor.com is also good but picmoney is better.
 
I love this website as well! I download the file from YouTube to get the right dimensions and upload it from pic monkey and thats how I continue on with my work.
 
Wow, thanks for this, I really didn´t wanted to spend a lot on just a photo editing software, I´m definitely trying it out!
 
Picmonkey is great id also like to add that Plxlr is also great for more in depth photo editing working with layers etc i use this in conjunction with Picmonkey alot :)
 
yeah this site is pretty useful
i use befunky and pixlr express either,just google them if you want to :D
