Best Free Screen Recorders ?

NEVER use Camtasia to record gaming, I'm such a hypocrite for saying this because I used it for so long but it's not made for gaming and you cannot even record in full-screen with it. After getting some money I've invested into PlayClaw 5 which on Steam is half-price, or certainly was when I posted this. It's currently £14.99 and is normally £29.99. I cannot recommend it enough, though, I still use Camtasia Studio to edit, just not to record with.

Please read the other 10 posts on this question. This has been answered numerous times and you can learn a lot from the other posts
