Best camera for VLOGs?

Girl01

Super Poster
I'm looking for a vlog camera that I can take around that's quite good quality and sound is decent since I will be taking in around and outside and want people to hear my voice and not the cars going past etc

I also want one that has a front camera so I can see myself to make sure I'm in the shot

And my budget is £200-£250 although I could stretch a bit more if it was worth it

I have two suggestions because these are the two that I've been eyeing myself.

For a lower budget, the Canon N2. For quite an investment, the Canon g7x.

They both have HD video, stereo sound, and a flip up screen that can face you, which is quite handy for daily/follow vlogs. That G7x is VERY popular among the bigger vloggers at this very moment. Seems like the N2 would be a relatively nice, cheaper alternative. Although, I've seen both qualitys in action and the G7x is just beautiful. So it would depend on what you wanted/needed and what you could afford right now, or if you wanted to save up and make the initial investment. That's what I'm wrestling with myself right now!

P.S. I just checked out your channel and it's so great! Channel goals! Haha <3

I use a DSLR (Nikon d5100) for my videos I know they're not really vlogs but there close and they shoot up to 1080p. But they aren't necessary I've seen people shoot wonderful stuff off an iPhone 4 or just a small digital camera. And colour can always be fixed in post (to a certain extent) if that's what's bothering you. Don't worry about the camera as much think more about content and you can do a lot with the minimalist

Thank you lovely[emoji4] I will check them out

And thank you [emoji5]️

I had never looked at the Sony, so I just checked it out. Seems like it has a lot of great features but it also seems pretty bulky compared to the two canon models. If you're going to be daily vlogging and carrying it around frequently, you want something really sleek, light and easy to carry. Of course, I've never seen this is person so I can't say whether it's big/bulky/heavy or not. That it has interchangeable lens capability though DOES mean that it'll be bulkier in comparison to a camera that does not. Otherwise it looks pretty solid for the price!

Yeah it's so hard to make a decision!

I've fallen in love with the g7x but I can't really afford it lol
