Whether you have a small to large budget this guide will help you pick out the best camera! :)

TOP TIP: Don't buy off-branded stuff that says HD, that's just a trick. Anything can record in HD but it's the video quality that matters.

Short Budget (£80) Sony DSCW730: This is a 16MP camera/camcorder that is great at recording video and taking pictures, this a great camera for any vlogger or youtuber.

Medium Budget (£199.99) Finepix s8200: This is a beast of a camera, it looks great and records in 1080p for great video quality. It also has a 40x zoom.

High Budget (£385.00) Canon T3i: This is the most popular camera used on youtube as it's amazing. It records and shoots in 1080p, it can have changeable lenses for those tricky shots and it performs beautifully in low light!

Got any tips or others cameras worth buying? Reply letting others know!

The cheap one records in 720p 25FPS.
And its really worth the low amount of buck$$ if you have the cash.

I record with a SONY Nex-7! I bought it awhile ago because I wanted to get back into photograph and was planning to take a photography class at my community college,
but that never happen. When I decided to start youtubing, it was perfect because I already had this awesome camera!! Turns out I was wrong because the sony nex series
tend to overheat when recording for too long. Sometimes I can record for 20 minutes straight and sometimes I can only record for 5 minutes straight. I noticed that a lot of
people on youtube have canon's. with the money I spent on my nex-7 I probably could have bought two canon camera's.

I would say the T4i rather then the T3i, because of that articulating screen.

Saying that, selling my T4i at the moment to get a 70d instead as son as its released ;)

Yeah but the T3i is great for short films.. ? :D

As is the T4i - standard full HD 1080p video.
The T4i is a natural progression to the T3i, so it will have everything the T3i has, and a little more, and its still well priced - many YouTubers use it.

The only reason Im moving to the 70D is because of the new AF system, which is much faster - more in line with a camcorder - without the need to search for the focal point. Otherwise, the T4i (or 650D in Europe) is ideal.

If you need action shots or underwater shooting, the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition is a great choice. It costs $400 (263 pounds) but shoots in up to 4k cinema (the quality used in movie theaters). It shoots stunning video and is very durable.

i use a sony handycam, its discontinued now, but it has a 500gb harddrive which is nice because i dont need to worry about SD cards and stuff. and its an overall GREAT camera
