"Behringer C-1 Studio Condenser Microphone" Worth the Money?

Ok this is my experience with behringer (studio) condensor mic's. DON'T do it :) behringer is a product where you get what you pay for it :)
The C-1 can be used in a proper way with a lot of experience and mic control . something that takes a long time to master. if you getting this you could get ANY good gaming headset from around the same price with the same microphone quality. Search for Thomann in google. its a german site with good prices and good advice :) u can also listen to these mic's but if ur not a trained sound engineer you probably will notice little diffrence.

Some brands i recommend:
Rode
T-Bone
neumann

this is if you want quality, Long lifespan, and a lot of fun

Ok, I'm confused...

Can somebody please link me to a good reliable mic that does not pick up my Computer fan or my breath... :p

For that price, you might be able to get a Blue snowball on Amazon US if you look hard enough
I already have one of those, I hate it.
It recieves ALL BACKGROUND noise, and the slightest bang on my desk.[DOUBLEPOST=1368396419,1368395741][/DOUBLEPOST]Hmmm 50 dollars looks good, my friend on Skype recommended this!
I may get it :D

U need a mic that picks up from 1 side only so not a OMNI directional mic
So the snowball is actually a awesome idea i looked at the specs and for that price it is pretty good

Edit:
Thats because these mic's have a great membrame and picks up almost all vibrations in the air
such mics should be used with a popcap and not further away then 10 cm of the mic away so you can lower the overall input down.

I use a G330 headset i doesnt pick up my computer at all i think.

you could also try to think about noise gate - ing if u want some explanations on that just pm me
