basement set up for music videos

hello everybody

i wasn't very active in this forum the last few weeks, but i'm still here
at the moment i'm preparing my basement for my drumset. but i'm not sure how to set it up
i want to be able to shoot some cool videos for youtube. i thought about black curtains and one or two softboxes for the lighting.
is this enough? or are the black curtains too dark?
my drumset is blue and i thought it would look cool in this way..

any suggestions? or same experiences?

I think the black curtain thing could work. Just be sure to place your drums as far from the curtains as possible, so there won't be any reflections coming from the lighting (meaning it'll be completely black).
