Banner, Profile Images and Intro

I have been trying to be consistent and keep the banner, profile image, and intro all looking about the same. I am wondering if it even matters at all? Does the appeal of it make a difference or is it just mainly a preference type of thing.

I think having a consistent theme across all of your videos (and your channel in general) helps silidify your channel in peoples minds, it helps the whole channel look 'complete' and more profession, in my opinion.
I think having different graphics with the same theme, or colour would also work, but in general, sticking to the same thing for everything (or a version of it) works best!
