Banner problems

Hi everyone i would be hugely grateful for any help. Yesterday i put a new banner on my youtube which has updated fine. But when i share my channel to facebook its still showing the old banner?

I'm thinking it might just take a little while for the change to take effect. I recently changed my profile picture on YouTube and it was still showing the old one for a few days.
 
Don't know if this is the right thread but I thought to ask anyway....

How do you make a customized banner? I'm using one of the youtube ones but I want my banner to reflect my logo and brief description about my channel.

Yeah sometimes it takes awhile to update. Sometimes I'll also change video thumbnail and it'll be different on YouTube but when I share to Facebook it's still the old one. Hope everything's fixed now![DOUBLEPOST=1484309802,1484309670][/DOUBLEPOST]

You'll need a image editing program. I use photoshop and it's awesome but I've heard of others using some other programs too that have worked out well. Can't remember the names of them for the death of me though :(
