Request Banner and Thumbnail Help?

!Hola y buenos noches! (It's night time over here xD)
My name is Kitteh Loaf and I run a YouTube channel that is both music and gaming based.
Recently, I've been having my channel under construction and so far it is turning out GREAT!
However, I need help with two things: My Banner and Thumbnail.

The banner really is just a gif that was split apart and it was good for a start but I want something different.
I still want this associated with the banner because this is basically my trademark along with cat ears (If this doesn't make sense to you, here is my trailer video and you can understand what I am like. ):

The problem I am having is creativity. I want my banner to be unique where it not only appeals to me but appeals to others.

The same goes with my thumbnail. I like my idea that I have which is this:

However, I want it to look more professional instead of amateur and my art skills are not where I want them to be.

Can someone help me with this...? The other thing is I cannot pay you for I am in college still, but what I can do is have your signature on both the thumbnail and the banner and I can have your link in my description for EVERY VIDEO! I can link people to your Deviantart, or whatever art website or even your YouTube channel.
If anyone could help me, it would mean the world to me.

Imo if you want consistency in your thumbnails, it's better to just put your logo (which could be either that drawing or one of the images from the gif, or something else) and just stick it on the bottom corner of the whole thumbnail. So instead of using the same thumbnail and just putting the game's logo on it, make individual thumbnails for different games and put your logo in the bottom left corner. But it's up to you, both ways look good I just personally see the way I described more often, and it can look more professional.
When it comes to making a banner, pick a color scheme and run with it. This is a quick banner I made, you can use it if ya like

I could make you a banner template, if you have photoshop you could change it according to the game.

I like their thumbnail ideas and want to do something like that but obviously not mimic it. I'm not creative when it comes to thumbnails, however, I do like you idea of making individual thumbnails and adding a logo. The other problem is I don't have a logo. Again, I'm still new and just starting out.

I figured that you meant thumbnail. I didn't catch myself nor correct myself. But yes, if you could help me that would be utterly fantastic! I would be grateful and I can do a shoutout video or something in return. This honestly does mean a whole lot to me.

Here's a basic template (the actual .psd file is attached to this post), and a few notes:
- you'll wanna insert some sort of background, so when you do just click place > whatever image and then drag it to be the very bottom layer
- when changing the episode number, you don't need to change anything about the text size/alignment because it's aligned to the right so unless you have a 3-digit number, it should all work fine without having to make adjustments
- you can either type the game name in the "game logo" text at the top, or if you want to use an actual logo, just place it up in that general area and delete the layer with the "game logo" text
And yeah, that's pretty much it. If there's any questions just lemme know and we'll work it out. Also, the font used there is free, it's called Visitor. I also attached it to this post so you can just download it instead of searching around the web for it.
