You may think you want my accent. You really don't
I want to make a couple of baking videos on my channel, but do you think it would be better to do a drawn out video with explanations, or a time lapse with cute music over the top? You can vote using the poll, or give an explanation of your opinion in the comments :)

I'm personally leaning towards the latter, as I wouldn't be making anything technical, just muffins and stuff ^_^

Maybe a mix of both? What if you have a time-lapse with a voice overlay describing what's happening? Then when there's an important step that needs to be watched carefully, you can bring the video down to normal speed so people can watch it as you explain in more detail.

That's actually a really good idea :D Thank you!

I agree with the mix idea. When I look up recipe videos, I like the ones that give detailed instructions and visuals, but also aren't 20 mins long. :thumbsup2:

I think cooking videos work well when they are heavily edited. So be in the kitchen and cut together a lot of clips of you cooking and talking to camera.

Although an original approach is always a good idea on YouTube, so maybe try something new!

Both is helpful! Explain ingredients, show steps, then time lapse the baking :D

I've formatted a macaron video in this way and it was well received
