Background music on suicide videos

not panda pants

Now you blink, breath, swallow manually
So basically i know my voice is boring as s**t, so i thought about having some sad music in the background for the suicide advice videos, what's your opinion about that? I am thinking it's a retarded idea myself but meh

Considering its a sensitive topic, if you do decide to use music make sure it's calming and inoffensive.
Although I'd recommend to stay from music and try to convey everything with your voice's emotions.

It'd probably set the mood.. But I'd probably use some upbeat music, something inspiring.

Well i kind of did think about calm music and stuff, of course i won't have death metal in the background :P

As for the video in your signature, I don't know why you put the credit of "Sorry if this looks s****y" and then put "XD" - all seriousness vanished instantly. I am pretty monotone myself, though I don't try to sound excited, depending on what I am saying in my videos, I'll make myself go through different tones - kinda like peaks and valleys. It gives it a better pace, even though I sound pretty bored in real life.

Music is a great, immediate way to liven up your videos. Just make certain it's appropriate (yeah, no death metal, haha). The music should match your tone and intention, perhaps gently coaxing the listener to a happier, peaceful place.

Of course music is no replacement for your own presence and delivery. Keep pushing yourself to be your ideal personality in front of the camera. Remember: you're never as loud or as expressive as you think you are, so turn that dial up to 11 and really put yourself over the top.
