Background issues

Hey so i am trying to make a new banner for meh channel and when i make it on photoshop cs6 it looks great and sexy, but then when i put it on youtube it isn't as clear and its kinda ugly, you guys have any solutions? Below is the background

What file type do you save it as?

What are you saving it as, try it as a png and see if improves

Save as a PNG or GIF file. Don't use JPEG
