Awkward vlogging?!

I was wondering if anyone else had moments where they awkwardly just stare while they're recording. I can't tell you how much footage I have where I just get entranced right after I get done talking about whatever topic I'm discussing. I get new ideas as I vlog and I just start thinking while the camera is going and it cracks me up when I edit later.

I was wondering if any of you video makers out there have moments where you just stop and stare while filming?
 
Yes totally! I also do this thing where i will just say the weirdest most awkward things. I'll also just look straight into the camera sometimes and just try to remember what i was talking about! It is pretty hilarious to watch myself space out sometimes. :)
 
It's so relaxing haha. I see these famous YouTubers and I've always wondered if they're like that too, they seem like they always know the right thing to say, but I feel like it's all the magic of editing.
 
That's what editing programs are for =P
I'm sure everyone has their awkward moments once in a while. It looks like I got caught in a magic spell, while reveling in my own genius vlog...

I just wasn't sure if some of you can just run with your thoughts like completely without stopping or if we're all similar where we stop and think and re-film.
 
Oh no! Haha sometimes i'll say the same sentence 11 times because i just can't say it properly. I actually don't know how some people who have rant videos and stuff never seem to have jump cuts or mess ups! it kind of freaks me out :o
 
Yes this exactly! It happens to me SO much it's not even funny lol My videos are always so choppy because I have to cut those portions out. I literally just sit there for like 30 seconds at a time thinking about what I'm supposed to say next. Thank god for editing programs!
 
yea every vid i record i always end up giving 10x the info because i just from idea to idea when i started with only one
