But that would lessen their "NORMAL" television ads cost, and since television ads costs are so extremely high, i dont really think they fill up that gap with a decreasing loss in every ad even with the fees and youtube ads.

It's for just few chosen channels, the big ones. But who would really subscribe then? It's a big loss to them, views as well as ads. They are further promoting channel to get lesser views along with decreasing earning by doing that.

Yeah if they have the option to do it they will probably test it and compare there earnings using it to without and then make a decision.
