Automatic adsense?

I made an extra channel to try the gaming thing under the same e-mail I use for my main channel. I enabled monetization on it, but saw nothing about adsense. Am I correct in assuming that the adsense was automatically associated with the new one since it was the one I used on the main channel under that e-mail address?

I havent touched Adsense on a channel for a long time now but what you used to have to do was authorise the YouTube account, under monetisation you may find further settings to authorise it to use the Adsense account: https://www.youtube.com/features I am sure there used to be a drop down menu next to there when monetising.

You need to link the new channel to the Adsense account. Go to Channel Settings: Monetization. In there there you should be able to link the new channel.

This. New channels won't automatically be linked. You have to manually link every channel to your adsense account.
