Automate numbering in Photoshop for Thumbnail

I use Photoshop to create my thumbnails, I do Let's play series and would like to use automate function to create thumbnail with different numbering,

What I mean is I want it to save #1 #2 #3 and so on * not the file name but actual text that is in thumbnail.

Is this even possible?
 
You can just duplicate the text you use on your 'master thumbnail' and just change the numbering when you need to. I'm not sure how to do what you're asking though but I hope this helps. :)
 
Too lazy? All you have to do is type a number in XD there's no reason to have an automatic numbering system because it's incredibly easy to do manually lol
