Audio Recording

Hey guys,
I've just started a new gaming channel (check it out if you're interested), I've got to grips quite easily with screen capture and creating good graphics, however my main problem is audio recording, I get a lot of background noise when recording with my computer microphone, therefore I think I need to invest in a good quality but budget device for recording, has anybody got an advice on what to buy?
All replies will be much appreciated.

USE AUDACITY, seriously everyone should use it people keep asking this.

1. Download Audacity (It's free)
2. Record in audacity or import your audio from your recording software
3. Leave a few seconds of silence when recording so the noise can be extracted
4. select a region of just noise in audacity
5. got to effects, noise removal, get noise profile
6. select the entire track and click ctrl+r to remove the noise
7.???
8. profit
