At which point does a video become viral?

I don't have a viral video but for those that do, when did you consider it viral?

When people share it and when your friends share the video with you although you have posted it on youtube.
I consider a video viral when I see the video on several sites and when people share it in forums etc.

The best type of viral is seing it on TV.

I guess when it just pwns all your other videos. I would say probably 100,000 views. Every famous YouTuber had the famous video that made them viral. The problem is finding that video to make you go viral.

100.000 views? Total you mean? I would have to disagree. On my hobby channel I have a video that gets an average of 150k views a month but I don't consider it a viral video in any way. But that's mostly because it's the type of video people watch to listen to the music.

I would consider a video viral if it gets an insane amount of views in a relatively short amount of time and when the video spreads itself (hence the term viral) so you don't have to do any sort of promotion yourself.
