At what point is your channel not considered small anymore?

I Love YTtalk
Some people with 10k subscribers still think they're small, while people with 1k think it's a lot of people. I think once you hit 1k subscribers you are doing pretty well on your own and don't need as much help anymore. What do you think?

I believe the term "small YouTuber," refers to creators who have 100K and less.

I think that is true since today it is easier to reach the milestones before 100K, don't quote me on that.

The true small YouTube community I think ranges from 1,000 to 50,000.

Below are just starters and those above are no longer "small"

I do agree with Andy. A range between 0-50,000 can be stated as a small channel but I think those above is considered mid-range and then big channels.

For me when you have a constant subscriber growth (That are not dead subscribers and they actually comment and stuff) and you get a good daily views you're already not a small channel since you're growing fast.

But someone with less that 50k I can still see it as kinda small.

It's all relative. For some people having 100 subs is a huge deal. For others, they get 100 new subs every hour. For me I realized I was no longer a small YouTuber when I hired my first full time video editor.
