Are You Scared?

Don't be, everyone is scared. Especially when you make videos, it can be scary to think about how others might respond to it. Will they like it? Will they hate it? Will they leave mean comments?

Lately I've seen a lot of people coming out and saying that they're scared of making videos and presenting them to people. I'm not just saying on YTtalk, I mean on YouTube as well, like charlieissocoollike:

There were lots of feedback towards his video and my favourite has to be the one by Hank Green where he reveals that EVERYONE is scared (what a surprise!).

I think the biggest piece of advice that I can give is DO IT ANYWAY.

While you may try to entertain everyone with your videos, there will always be trolls and mean people out there that may dislike your videos or try to screw with you. Don't be discouraged by these negative comments! If you believe that what you have uploaded is good, then continue to do so!

This is especially important for people that are just starting out on YouTube. If people are saying that your videos are bad, try to contemplate their criticisms if they make sense, but do not dwell on the hateful ones.

Remember, making videos is a journey. You can't expect to post a video online and instantly gain multitudes of fans and views. It's gradual, especially with the vast amount of videos being uploaded every single day. Do this one step at a time, and you'll gradually get better at making videos!

I hope this helps, now go out there and make some videos!
