I read a book a week ago about the importance of controlled chaos in creative thinking.... That is it, I just wanted to post a thread about how I read a book once. I'm kidding.

The book's philosophy was pretty simple. The best ideas you ever have, is when you are off topic. An example was how Einstein came up with his theory of relativity while walking and not in his study.

Food for thought.
 
For the longest time I have wanted to make a review channel so my ideas are still flowing.

Although I am worried on when the creativity stops lol
 
I don't have problems with creativity. I have so many great ideas. My problem lies with motivation, determination & actually carrying through with those ideas. Haha.
 
I have a gaming channel, so I have to look around the games available on internet, and I need to do research which games will suit my channel niche. Sometimes I walk around and get ideas from the surroundings, it works for me, this theory really works.

Totally agree, the true problem lies within sticking to one thing for a long period of time. After a while the idea starts to become boring to me and I may abandon it. It is just a struggle to keep yourself motivated to finish it.
 
I find that keeping contained with a couple types of videos (cooking, George) help me to be more creative. If I try to think of a video idea when I'm thinking about every single type of video that can be made, I get overwhelmed and can't really land on anything.
