Are Private and Unlisted upload options censor proof?

I do archival preservation. The first 5 vids I uploaded got me 2 strikes. I'm mainly interested in using YT links on my blog, so don't care about getting thumbs up on YT so much and the video can stay hidden if it must. Although it would be nice if YT left my stuff alone.

YT has 2 upload options...Private and Unlisted.

Anyone try these 2 options and still have problems with YT censorship?

Thanks

Everything uploaded to YouTube gets scanned by their automated Content ID system. It doesn't matter if the video is public, private, or unlisted, it will be scanned and, if copyrighted content is found, you will face repercussions.

I would hardly consider what they're doing as "censorship" as it sounds you're uploading content that you don't own the rights for.

Yeah anything isn't safe from copyright for some reason. I've heard of people's private videos they just wanted to send to a friend get taken down because of copyright
