Hey everyone. I just received a private message on my YouTube channel from a network called DownRightTV. The message read like a copy/paste thing but I'm not surprised by that. It contained the usual pitch of higher CPMs that AdSense, being able to track your revenue in real-time etc. I went and checked out their web site and there isn't much there and their forums are pretty sparse so I'm guessing this is a new player. I haven't managed to find out much else about them.

I do have a goal of getting my channel partnered but given that I've only been doing videos for a little over the month and don't have that many views yet, I'm also in no rush to jump into bed with the first potential network that comes along. I would like to join up with a place that has a decent reputation, good tools and which can hopefully provide promotional assistance to me as well.

Does anyone know anything about DownRightTV? Should I just avoid them and apply elsewhere later on? Thanks all!
 
Hmm, that's interesting. I am curious why none of what's on that page is mentioned on their web site or was mentioned to me in the PM I got on YouTube. I'm kind of paranoid since I've heard so many stories of content creators being screwed over by scummy networks lately. The ability to bail out after 90 days is interesting though. Anyone have experience with them or SewerWaste himself?

Nope, but considering the mess that TTG forums are in with spam and such.
I`d suggest doing quite a bit of research first :p
 
Oh I definitely intend to. I'm in no rush to get partnered just yet and I want to make sure any potential partner is going to be a good fit for me. If that's means several more months or longer of making videos for basically nothing, so be it. I'm in this for fun first, a bit of money would just be a nice bonus. :) I'll keep digging around, this was just one step in my research as I figured if any place knew something about this network, it would be here.
