App For My Channel?

Hello,

I was thinking about making an app for my channel and I have a few questions.

I cannot find this out anywhere, but do you have to be over 18 to post an app on Google Play? I know you use Google Wallet and that's for 18+ users, but if I did it in my dad's name, would my dad's name be the name of the developer for the app?

I.E - TheEpicmanLives12 (Name of App)
Bob Whatsandoodle (name of developer)

Also, would Mojang be okay with this? My channel is based around Minecraft and the app would be free.

P.S - My dad isn't called Bob Whatsandoodle. :p
 
a better question is will it be worth the time to make a app? what you are trying to do is build a fan base not trying to be a fan, it becomes difficult to get more views or subscribers without a reason to join. As for your question, yes you need to be 18+ but don't believe google will help launch your product. there is a $25 fee for making a google app, no you can't pay by paypal. you must know how to code it into a server (something like mmo games do), type in the description, videos, and screenshots. lastly agree to google play contract (yes its a contract) it has the same rules like youtube 3 strikes then your google play account is deleted or a permanent ban on you whole google account.

I am a fan of having an app for your channel. I have one in the play store as well as the app store. I use it as a centralized location for my videos and social media. I think I have the android one linked in my signature
 
I can easily make an app, it's just the technical stuff at Google Play. I know about the fees and the marketing, they'd be easy to handle.
