I suppose the best way is to record using another camera, or using an emulator, which would be difficult to do all the hand motions with.

why DON'T you consider jailbreaking though? It's not illegal to use third party applications after jailbreaking. If you are concerned about that just remember to buy your games from the app store and you should be fine.

You could use an HD-pvr if you have one. Best option probably. (Not sure if possible with ipod)

Actually, yeah! you can probably use composite cables to connect your ipod to an HD-PVR

and then record on your computer!

i have tried but my iPod for some reason doesn't wont to i tryed it like 1000 times.
