Anyone use the Sony DSC-H300 for videos?

I'm having a issue with my camera where it will keep refocusing when recording which is really annoying because it is ruining my videos. Anyone know how to fix thing?[DOUBLEPOST=1430311738,1430299707][/DOUBLEPOST]Seriously couldn't recommend this camera any less...
 
Video capable cameras generally offer you the choice of single auto focus, and continuous auto focus.

I always use single auto focus, as the camera will hunt in and out of focus on continuous auto focus.

This is what's happening to you.

Check your video settings and change it to single auto focus.

that's the thing there doesn't seem to be a single focus mode
 
I had a look at the manual and you may be right.

There is face tracking, make sure that's off.

Can you use manual focus with video on this camera ?

Doesn't seem like you can. I figured out that if I zoom it in a little bit it helps but it still does some weird auto focusing during filming
 
If anyone is still struggling with this I've owned the camera for a while. Always forget to turn it off and on. If you go into menu its just listed as digital focus, make sure its off:)
