Anyone use MagicBullet Looks?

I've Got It
Hey guys, so i've always had an issue with my color settings on my DSLR ( T3i). I can never get my videos to look exactly the way most popular vloggers have it, everything in their video is so perfectly lit up to the same exact lighting, I know their editing the coloring/lighting obviously, but i FCPX is limited, so one of my friends, whom is also an extremely popular youtuber, told me he uses magic bullet looks, which is basically like photoshop but for videos, because you can make customized filters.

P.S - not to mention some of these youtubers look totally different in certain videos than others. ( like if they have green eyes for example, is certain videos, their eyes are SUPER green, so i know they are using magic bullet, because that software allows you to change very specific colors on the screen without touching the colors.

So, i have it, but im so clueless on how to use it, does anyone have magic bullet looks, and can help me choose a right settings for my videos?

Do you set your white balance? Also, what lens do you use?

Standard 58mm, and yea, i set up a custom white balance by taking a photo of a white paper, and just using that. but should i have taken the picture in auto settings? because i had my own color settings on.

You shouldn't have any color settings on while setting your white balance. I use Magic Bullet Looks for Avid and I learned how to use it just by searching for tutorials on Youtube. I know this isn’t much of an answer to your question, but I hope it helps.

I have used Magic Bullet and do all the time.. Not for my YouTube Videos but I do a lot of short film and Documentary work. Magic Bullet is a great tool and it has a lot of awesome looks and effects. If you can Get the Suite you can actually transform your video's as though you used high end Lighting. I normally use it to ugly up reenactment footage to look like it is from the 30's 40's 50's and so on.
