Anyone Use FL Studio 11?

Hi, so I just got FL Studio 11 so I could make some of my own music for my videos to make it more original. I am not a pro at this stuff so I was wondering if someone would be able to explain to me how to make a basic tune.

In the future I hope to make things like the background music on this video at the start:

Is there any particular instruments that would need to be used to compose something like this?

I hope to get any help from you clever people at this stuff

I downloaded Fruity Loops ages ago hoping to make music but it's far too complicated for someone like me so I now use MAGIX Music Studio but if you know how to work it then you should give it a go. Fact: LMFAO's producer uses FL Studio

Thanks, I know roughly how to use it but I just don't know some of the important features

Well there is a whole lot to explain, I would definitely look at a tutorial on YouTube. You need to understand how the patterns work because each pattern can be used to create a specific melody or beat. Then you combine these patterns in the main playing field. I don't have visuals to help, but if you look up a YouTube tutorial I'm sure it will help
