I was remaking my channel art,i want to ask you guys if anyone of you knows how to create this effect behind text.

That blue thing behind the text?

No it's that you cant see any text,there's no text in there
I wanted to create text with behind the blue things,basically text on the black part,if i say it right

I think its basically how photoshop works, many people makes designs on TEXTS and decorate it!

I know but i wanted to know how,because i don't know how to call it else i would search tutorials,so anyone?

That is most likely done with a unch of different brushes
if you search deviant art, they have a bunch of free brush bundles for photoshop and gimp
just find flarey, smokey and light types and you can do it very easily (just one click)
