Anyone Ever get this Weird Interference?

So whenever I record and I get a text from my cellphone, the mic makes a really strange sound even though I have the phone on silent, it just freaks out. Does anybody else get this problem? I find it slightly annoying because I have to turn off my phone while recording.
 
You could always edit it out with something like Audacity. That's what I've recently been doing :) Also, what kind of mic do you use?

True but that's only when I'm silent, if it happens when I'm talking and I can't get a noise profile because it's mixed in. It's not the mic though, I've tried it with every kind of mic(and they're not the cheap kind) and would ask my friend to send me a text and no matter what, I would get this problem.
 
Yeah the solution would be to move your cellphone away, it happens to everyone cuz the cellphone runs interference on your equipment.

Alright thanks for telling me that, I thought I was the only one getting this problem so I was so confused about it. |D
 
Happened to my friend a lot with his Turtle Beach headset. Just keep your phone away from the area and you should be fine.

Yep I have gotten that.. I normally leave my phone in another room or turn it off now when recording.
