Anyone else sloppy with their thumbnail branding?

So.. I could make a template if I want, but instead I just follow a general rule of thumb and do my thumbnail branding manually everytime since I can't be bothered to make a template and follow it strictly. Anyone else does this or is it just me?

I do the exact same thing every time, but don't have a template. I use the free version of picmonkey.com and so I can't save a template. Should learn to work with Photoshop, I know...

I'm using some sort of template (keeping the top of my thumb curved) but other than that, I'll try out different things. Nothing too fancy though

If I had the time, I would probably keep a very small thing similar in a template like if its a series, but I would make super unique thumbs each time. Instead I use a template, change out text, background image, make a few changes, but spend maybe 10-15 minutes instead of an hour+ due to time constraints.

I usually make my thumbnail graphics using pixelmator on a tablet. It does work pretty well with my photography.

I have some templates for a few series, but not for all of them.
Some I just do manually.

But I'm not really good at making thumbnails anyways xP

I'm just make a thumbnail using a still frame and titles in Final Cut Pro and then take a screen shot.

I think all your thumbnails look great, but some stand out more than others. Also what I like about youtubers with one style for all their thumbnails is that it's easy to find more of their content in the related videos. I only just got started (5 videos) and manually made each thumbnail but I think once I've played around with thumbnails and settle on a layout I really like, I'll make a template for it. Or at least one standard thumbnail for each type of video, if not streamlining everything
