Any way to make uploading to Youtube faster?

I've Got It
I usually upload around 8-12 minute videos and they seem to take around 200-220 minutes to upload. Is this normal? I think my videos would take longer than the average "vlog" type videos seeing as I'm recording very graphic intensive games with my commentary. But 220 minutes seems a tad too long. Any ideas guys?

i normally render in sony vegas "internet hd 720 mp4" it renders in good quality and keeps the file size small

I made my own custom settings that should be optimized to be the best I'm kind of thinking it's just my crappy internet. Oh and I use WMV
 
umm i think two main things affect upload speed, the size of the file being uploaded and your wireless connection speed.

Sometimes mine are ridiculously slow, but when i'm at home it's super speedy :)

you could make a 1min test video, and upload as private, and change formats/size and time it so you can tell if the upload speed improves? :)

my uploads range from like 200MB = 1.6 GB lmao. Ah well....
