Any way to hide new uploads to subscriber's news feed?

A lot of my subscribers are subscribed for tutorials and guides, but I sometimes upload compilation videos and recordings of gameplay that aren't tutorials. Specifically, my most successful videos are how-to guides for making gold in WoW. I'm wondering if there's a way to set a new video to not appear on people's home page so they don't feel "spammed" by videos they do not want.

I lost 2 subscribers today within the same hour of uploading 2 videos that were "fun" WoW videos, but not tutorials or guides.

If you are looking for a way to hide uploads from anyone, but still be able to share the video, just put it down as unlisted. But this will hide it on your channel as well.
As far as I'm aware there isn't a way to hide your video uploads from the subscriber feed without it being hidden all together.

When uploading, you can go to the advanced tab and there's supposed to be a "Show up in subscribers feed" there, uncheck it.
