Hello,I was just wondering if it's possible to hide Keywords & Tags from your videos,so people don't copy paste & use the exact samething for their own videos.
Tags don't show up on the page in the first place, but even then YouTube needs to use tags for the meta data, so it's impossible to hide your tags completely.
If you check the source code of the page you can see only the first 9 or so tags. So may be you can use some more common tags first and put the "important" one later.
But be careful with this advice because tags stuffing is against YouTube rules and your channel could be terminated for such activities. So all of your tags must be relevant!
Actually using vidiq or similar you can see every tag a person has used. If you disable public statistics this can not be viewed. This can be done individually on a video or in your default channel settings.
If you are spamming tags/keywords in the descriptions of your videos then remove them all now, it is against the ToS and they have been banning accounts that do it.
Just one more thing! Keep in mid that for YouTube the words in your videos comments are sometimes even more important as tags than your own tags (especially if they come from real viewers not just friends who comment on every video of yours). That's why the engagement of viewers (comments/likes/shares) is so importnat!
