Any reviewers out there?

Oh I forgot to say what I did.

I review terrible movies and games. I like to put a comedic spin on it to keep it entertaining. They are hosted on caiminds.com
 
From a money making standpoint, reviews on YouTube aren't really worth the time, as YouTube doesn't allow affiliate links (with the exception of paid/sponsored reviews).

You'd make 10x more posting your review either on your own website or on Hubpages, where you can earn commissions for referring people to buy the product within your review.
 
It all depends. You're not exactly promoting or selling the product. If it sucks... I'm gonna say it sucks. I doubt they're gonna pay me to say their movie was no good.
 
We review different aspect of life in Japan (kids perspective). Also recently we started review of Japanese family friendly restaurants and izakayas (pubs).

In the past we did some Japanese toys and candies reviews but we almost completely stop making such reviews now.
 
I do own a website and while 50% of my overal views come from thereviews come quicker from youtube.

My plan is to release videos first on my website then the next day on youtube. It's a way to get more exposor but I can only wish and work hard to making my site worth the time and money spent on it.

Between that, I try to let people know that being a "gaming YouTuber" can mean more than just uploading random bits of Let's Play videos, or screaming into a microphone and monetizing... I upload reviews, previews, discussion videos and hint/tips for those wanting to start their own YouTube channel!

275 subs later and I'm enjoying myself more than ever :)

This is the way to do it - use your videos to drive traffic to your website and post the affiliate links on there. The video acts as a backlink for your site and the additional traffic will get you more sales for whatever you're reviewing.
