Any other ways I can improve the video's on my channel?

I've only recently started making YouTube videos, and I'm trying to think of ways to help my channel grow.

I've already tried thinking about using good tags and using annotations to my benefit. I've also been producing lots of content (have nearly 60 videos on my channel now) and I believe most of them to be of good quality.

I just don't seem to be getting as many views or loyal subscribers as I'd like to, but I know these things take time. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to further enhance my channel to bring in an audience, then please let me know!

Many thanks,
Remi

From what I can tell after quickly flicking through a few videos your content seems ok, the most obvious improvement to make would be the microphone I guess.

I noticed that you have quite a wide variety of content. While this is good in some cases, it might be easier to get more 'loyal' subscribers if you narrow down your content to be geared more towards a specific game or specific genre of games just while you start out and are trying to get a good subscriber base established.

I'm no expert but that's just my first impressions, you're doing a lot better than I did in my first month on YouTube so nice work so far and keep it up!

I am looking into getting a new microphone eventually. Unfortunately I am only working part time so it's quite an expense buying new hardware but it's definitely something I'm looking into!

As for the content, I couldn't agree with you more. Due to the Steam sale, I have so many games lying around, I just wanted to pump out as many videos as I possibly could to bring in some views. Also, I was originally intending to do major new releases (hence the Ghost Recon series) but since there are no games coming out any time soon, and I've finished my Ghost Recon Let's Play, I've had to improvise and find some other games to post in the meantime :D

The microphone you have now is still sufficient since I can still hear what you're saying so it's not a massive issue in the short term :) Long term it'll need upgrading so you've probably still got a long time yet before it'll be in dire need of replacement

Steam sales are pretty brutal to the wallet aren't they lol :D As for new games coming out, Orcs Must Die 2 is coming out on Monday and that's pretty popular I think, I've got the first one and it's pretty fun. It's also got co-op so you could try dual commentating with someone else who's getting the game to spice things up a bit :)
