Any good free editing software ?

Hey guys !

I've only just started to make videos and i edit them with windows movie maker :/ do you have any good editing programs that are free and i can download on a PC ? i need one that will allow me to put a picture on top of the video and 2 videos playing at the same time ! Thanks !!!

Well Wax is free and I think lets you do that, but my experiences using it haven't been great.

Adobe were giving out old CS2 software on their site but I think they may have deactivated it now? Not entirely sure. If it still works the links are good as far as I'm aware, been using the software for a couple of weeks now and nothing's happened. Other than that I think there is a separate thread about editing software

Well if ya want a good one the yu shuld invest some money Or pirate it but thats yur choice xD Im using sony vegas pro 11 for all my vids and i have to say it rocks my socks on every single vid xD

I heard light works is good but I haven't figured out how to use it

It's a professional editing software, think they used it to edit The Kings Speech. I tried it, couldn't make heads nor tails of it =P

lightworks is pretty good but wax will do what you need, and its a lot simpler

Adobe still has the page up. Google Adobe CS2. They discontinued their authentication server and put up links and serial codes for the CS2 suite. You're "supposed" to actually own the software, but IMO they could have locked it down if they wanted to and chose not to. An open download link from the official site is fair game.
