Another Sony Vegas Pro 12.0 Glitch (Sorry!)

Okay so earlier some of you guys offers feedback on why I couldn't fully render my videos. Turns out to fix the problem I just had to click the direct "Upload to YouTube" button rather than rendering then uploading manually. However, the video that I've embedded below only goes up to the quality of 480p when it was recorded and rendered (it renders before uploading to YouTube, automatically) in 1080p! All of my other videos can be watched in 1080p without a problem and I haven't changed any settings.

Thanks for any help,
- Tom / Siqqr

The broken video:

I hate Sony Vegas 12! Sometimes it renders, sometimes it doesn't and you have to spend 2 hours of online searching to make it work. My suggestion: Adobe Premiere or even better: Sony Vegas 11

I used Sony Vegas 12 and I never had problem with it. Yeah, have a back up editing program. I have Adobe Premiere Pro as a back up just in case... I also want to get After Effect. Anyway, just record and then render and then upload. Do it manually. What is your render setting?

Kest The reason I did the automatic upload is because when I try to render manually it gets stuck on 100%. I swear I said that in main post.. Bleh nevermind.

Umm, mine usually gets "stuck" at 100% but it's processing. That's why. You have to wait. It usually takes up to 5 mins to finish completely at 100%.

Maybe it's your render setting. If you play around your render setting, you can usually find your perfect setting. I haven't had any problem with Sony Vegas.

Kest Thanks for your help, and I didn't mean to come across as insulting you or anything. I read through a bunch of forums who also told me to wait it out at 100%, but I'm talking 3 hours of waiting after a 4 minute video, that's not right after everything before this video was fine. Anyways it's all in the past now, I've downloaded Sony Vegas 11.0 and I'm re-editing the video already.

It's okay. I wasn't insulted anyway. Haha, it's all good. Yeah, it's weird that the video would get stuck for 3 hours... Umm. I don't know what's wrong. Glad everything worked out for ya. :D Cheers.
