Annoying Thumbnail issue...

So I have a video where the thumbnail keeps changing all by itself. I keep going in and re-uploading the thumbnail I want and then it changes again. In my video manager I keep getting the gray symbol with the three dots, like a removed video. I've had this issue for over a week.

If you keep reuploading it, you're confusing things, so it's updating and regressing to the original and whatnot all over the shop. Leave it alone, and wait for it to change on its own. It can take up to 2 days for it to show on all fronts

I have a similar issue where I upload a custom thumbnail during the uploading process. After the upload is done the thumbnail is applied properly when I share the video but the playlist the video belongs to shows a generic thumbnail.

I had that issue once, I just left it and it eventually sorted itself out.

That's the problem. It happened last Sunday and I tried to fix it. I left it alone until yesterday. It is a popular video and I need the thumbnail to be correct because the auto generated thumbs suck.

Mine did the same thing last week. Leave it alone for it to sort itself out. If it still doesn't work, and you have the grey screen with three dots, select a normal (suggested) thumbnail and save. Then reload the page and upload the custom thumbnail and save again. Worked for me.
